About Us

Greetings from the Tex ADU Home Build site! 
 

Peder & Julie are "Native Californians" and have made Carlsbad California their home for over 40 years. 

Julie is a retired Associate Superintendent of a public school district serving the education profession for 39 years. 

Peder is a Master Danish Baker having owned several danish bakeries in two states, a downtown restoration and transportation consultant for 25 years, he has also served as a public official, both as a San Diego County Planning Commissioner and Carlsbad City Council Member for a combined total of 10 years. 

Peder and Julie have three adult children, love traveling, cooking, and creating experience together and with others.

As part of building our Texas home and ranch, we are working in collaboration with Liquid Art Pools on the outdoor living and pool design. Their involvement helps bring the full vision of the property together into a cohesive Hill Country design.
